Comcast is moving forward with the spinoff of its cable networks, including CNBC, MSNBC and E!, according to people familiar with the matter. Sources say the spinoff will be announced Wednesday and is expected to take about a year to complete. NBC News’ Brian Cheung reports on the upcoming announcement.
