Lawmakers from a Hungarian opposition party lit flares as the country’s parliament passed a law to ban Pride events. Prime Minister Viktor Orban’s ruling Fidesz party submitted the bill on the grounds that it could prove harmful to children, approving the legislation in an expedited process.
